The Cavalier Specialty Show is the first major event of the year, usually held in the spring. This is a wonderful place to see Cavaliers and to meet other Cavalier enthusiasts. The next Cavalier Specialty show will be held on Saturday, April 11th at Heritage Park in Chilliwack, in conjunction with the Renaissance Dog Shows. The club also sponsors boosters for our breed at three All-Breed Shows during the year. One is on the Lower Mainland, one on Vancouver Island and one in the Okanagan region. At each booster, the club supplies small prizes for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Winners Male, Winners Female and Best Puppy, in addition to any ribbons or prizes awarded by the All-Breed club concerned. Boosters are put on to encourage Cavalier entries, increasing the points winners can apply towards their Canadian Championships.
